Goldendoodles are friendly and fun-loving! They are a mix of Golden Retriever and Poodle. Goldendoodles are considered a designer dog breed due to the fact that they are a combination of two purebred dogs. Goldendoodles can weigh anywhere from 15 to 100 pounds! Miniature Goldendoodles weigh 15 to 35 pounds and stand 13 to 20 inches tall. Standard Goldendoodles weigh 45 to 100 pounds and are 20 to 24 inches tall. These energetic and eager to please pups also come in an assortment of colors. You can find Goldendoodles that are cream, gold, apricot, red, brown, white, black, white, or even multicolored! With the wide range of heights, weights, and colors you are sure to find a Goldendoodle that is best for you!

These gorgeous dogs make great family pets and have a low tendency to bark, dig, snore, and drool. Goldendoodles are also commonly advertised as being hypoallergenic. Most shed very little if at all. They are energetic dogs who love, and need room to play. They generally require 30 minutes of play and exercise to stay fit and healthy. Goldendoodles are also extremely intelligent so it's a good idea to give your puppy regular activities to keep them out of trouble. While it's important to make sure they have plenty of fun things to do, grooming is generally not a worry for Goldendoodle owners. However If their coats are kept long, it is often advised to brush them regularly in order to prevent matting.

Cockapoos, a Poodle and Cocker Spaniel mix, gained traction and became very popular in the early 1960s. The success and popularity of this designer dog breed led to the creation of the Goldendoodle in the late 1900s. It is believed that they originated in Australia, and were made as a companion dog for Monica Dickens. Over the years they have started gaining more and more popularity. Dog owners and breeders alike love that they can combine the Golden Retriever's sweet and compassionate personality with the non-shedding, lively, and intelligent Poodle. Goldendoodles are now one of the most popular dog breeds here in the United States.

Goldendoodles, as mentioned before, are extremely intelligent. This has allowed them to have many jobs and uses over the years. They have been used for Search and Rescue, Medical Assistance, and even Therapy Work. Not only are they good on the job, they are great at home as well! Goldendoodles are known for their sweet temperament and ability to be amazing family dogs. If you are looking for a loyal, family-friendly, affectionate, easy-to-train puppy, I recommend highly recommend a Goldendoodle.
